More Than That

“It’s just dirt”, a man who doesn't really know the value of it may define the term “soil”. That’s more likely to be agreed by the uninformed ones. But after reading this blog, there might be some difference that may bring about the eradication of the stereotype and the redemption of its image for the society.
Soil, as defined in different views, unravels several values to the respective fields. In the view of the field of engineering, the soil is a venue for establishment of buildings, and a source for derivation of cement, minerals, and other several valuable things for engineering. Also, properties of soil may affect the very quality and safety of the building or project being established.
In the field of agriculture, soil is viewed as a very precious thing, a very important factor. It serves as a cradle of crops and domesticated animals, as in a farm, and also the natural ecosystem. It is where the plants derive minerals, nutrients, and water that they need, that in turn utilized by human beings and animals. Indeed, we depend a lot from soil. Removing the soil will create a domino effect, and also very comprehensible massive impact. It is a component of the earth to where majority of us thrived, and to where our cultures and traditions evolved.

Explanations may appear to be short empirically, but the thought suggests more than enough that the soil isn't just dirt. It’s more than that, much more than that…
